What this website collects, what it does with it, and how to ask us to delete it.
Unit F14 Powder Coating is a small shop in Plano, Texas. This site exists so you can see our work and ask for a quote. Here is everything it collects.
Quote requests
When you send a quote request, the name, email address, phone number, details and any photos you include are emailed to the shop so we can reply. They are not sold, shared or used for marketing lists. Delivery is handled by Resend, an email provider. The form is protected from bots by Cloudflare Turnstile, which may set a cookie for that purpose only.
The photos on this site marked "View on Instagram" are copies of posts from our own account, @unitf14. To fetch them, the site holds an access token for that account, granted by the shop owner through Instagram. The site never reads anything about visitors' Instagram accounts. If the shop owner removes the website from Instagram, the token is discarded automatically.
Booking and maps
Appointments are booked through Square, and directions open in Google Maps. Both are separate services with their own privacy policies; nothing about your visit here is sent to them until you click through.
Analytics and cookies
The site does not use advertising cookies or sell data. Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, page requested, browser type) for security and troubleshooting, and they are deleted on a rolling basis.
Deleting your information
To have a quote request and its photos deleted, call the shop or send a note through the quote form and we will remove it from our mailbox. Requests received through Meta's data-deletion process for the Instagram connection are logged with a confirmation code and result in the access token being discarded.
