Powder coating anything metal
Half of what we coat isn’t automotive. Window trim, frames, covers, panels, boxes, railings, furniture and industrial parts, often on a deadline. Complex masking, custom colors, and the right powder for where the part will live.
Process
How we do anything metal
-
Tell us the deadline
A lot of this work is a rescue: a trim piece, a frame or a cover that has to be back by Friday. Say so up front and we’ll tell you what’s possible.
-
Pick the powder for the job
Outdoor, high-heat, chemical exposure, or a factory color match. We know the materials and will recommend the powder that will actually hold up.
-
Disassemble and mask
Metal parts only. Anything that can’t take 450°F comes off. Threads and mating surfaces get masked; complex masking is a specialty.
-
Strip, blast, coat, cure
Chemical bath, preheat, low-pressure blast, then coat and cure in an 8 × 8 × 12 ft oven. Where we can’t strip or blast, we sand.

What comes through the door
Window and door trim, enclosures and electrical boxes, brackets and panels, furniture, fixtures, signs, outdoor decoration, exterior building trim, bicycles, appliances, defense and semiconductor components, and fabricated parts of every kind. If it fits the oven, we can coat it.
Rush and rescue jobs
We hold time for last-second work. Typical turnaround is 1–2 weeks, and we can usually turn a small job in days when the schedule allows. Ask.
Custom colors and masking
Two-tone, color match to a factory paint code, custom multi-coat finishes, brushed or polished details left bare. We’ll tell you which powders will match, which will last, and which won’t.
Additional services
Welding, metal or body filler, assembly and disassembly, pickup and delivery, high-temp Cerakote, tire service and sales, truck and off-road suspension, wheel powder coating, wheels and accessories, vinyl stickers, ceramic coating, and vapor honing to bring old aluminum back to its original look.

FAQ
Metal questions
Which powder should I use?
Ask us. Outdoor, high heat, chemicals, salt, sunlight and touch all point to different powders, and the wrong one fails early. We know the materials and will recommend one for where the part will live, including when a color you like isn’t the right chemistry for the job.
Do you only do car parts?
No, and people ask us that every week. About half of what we coat isn’t automotive: window trim, frames, covers, panels, enclosures, railings, furniture and industrial parts, a lot of it on a deadline. Complex masking and custom colors are a specialty. See anything metal.
Anything special about valve covers?
Remove any baffles before bringing us a valve cover if you can. When they cannot be removed we mask before sandblasting so nothing gets inside. Silicone plugs and high-temp tape keep powder off mating surfaces. Two-tone, brushed or polished letters and vinyl stickers are all options. Powder coat is the best way to restore a valve cover.
