Metal Refinishing
We can powder coat just about anything made of metal. The process is like melting plastic on parts that looks like paint. The prep-work can make or break the quality of the finish. All parts should be fully disassembled to ensure parts are not “glued” together and that we can get full coverage. Any parts that cannot handle 450 degrees Fahrenheit such as plastic, rubber, grease, etc. need to be removed so they do not melt or cause issues with the finish. Most parts start with a submerged chemical bath to clean and remove powder coatings or paint. We then preheat the parts to burn off contaminations before sandblasting at a low pressure to profile and clean. We account for critical mating surfaces during all parts of the process to ensure the coating is as functional as it is good-looking. In applications where we cannot chemically strip or sandblast, we simply sand the surface to be coated.
We powder coat a wide range of parts from automotive and household to industrial and manufacturing. This includes furniture, fixtures, signs, outdoor decoration, exterior building trim, enclosures, kitchen drawer-pulls, hardware, vents, bicycles, appliances, defense industry applications, semiconductor components, and more!
Additional services include welding, metal or body filler, assembly/disassembly, pickup/delivery, high-temp Cerakote, tire service and sales (we price match and have a warranty program), we sell parts including truck and off road suspension, wheels and accessories such as spacers and lug nuts, we offer vinyl stickers, ceramic coating, color matching, custom multi-color finishes, vapor honing to restore old aluminum components to their original look, and more!
