Powder coat is a common finish used in a wide range of industries and applications for its quality and durability. Appliances, automotive items, wrought iron gates, and bicycles are just a few examples.
We sandblast nearly every item as part of our pretreatment process. Once parts are perfectly clean and down to bare metal, we use a industry leading powder coating gun that electronically charges the powder as its applied to a grounded part. Parts are then cured around 360-400 degrees Fahrenheit. There are both decorative and protective finishes available to best suit certain projects.
“It provides a more durable finish than liquid paints can offer, while still providing an attractive finish. Powder coated products are more resistant to diminished coating quality as a result of impact, moisture, chemicals, ultraviolet light, and other extreme weather conditions. In turn, this reduces the risk of scratches, chipping, abrasions, corrosion, fading, and other wear issues.”
Our oven is 4ft x 6ft x 6ft; big enough for rigid motorcycle frames, off-road parts, wheels, and some bumpers. If your item is metal and is able to withstand 360 degrees Fahrenheit, we can powder coat it.
Custom powder coating services include multi-color finishes, stenciling in powder coat, custom masking, clear coat applied over vinyls, and metal filler to restore heavy damage and corrosion.
